Darren made it look like he was shopping around for our best deal, as if he were a broker, when backed into a corner he admitted he wasnt a broker and looking for his best deal. Darren continually sent us different document with no explanation and expected us to blindly sign them. Darren's team would ask for documents. Then say the documents werent good enough. Never providing a full explanation of what they want. I have told everyone, very loudly and clearly, to NEVER use First Home Mortgage. It was a horrendous experience and am glad that they sold our Mortgage. Even though Darren said they dont typically sell Convention loans. Just more lies. "

"Overall, our experience with Darren was very positive. While we don't have any major issues at all, we rarely provide perfect ratings for anyone. Darren was willing to help answer questions throughout the process. He was willing to explain things that might not have made sense at first. There was a potential loan option that didn't end up being the best option for us, but Darren was still willing to explain things in detail to help us understand the different options without any confusion. There was minor confusion regarding the actual closing date, although most of that was more created by the seller and delays with USDA, not Darren or First Home Mortgage directly. Since closing, Darren has followed up with us a few different times. He has added us to a VIP list where he will follow up every six months. He just sent a friendly reminder regarding the upcoming first payment. Overall, it was a positive experience working with both Darren and First Home Mortgage and we would recommend them to others looking to buy a house! "
