About Tony Leighty

My motivation: To make sure that I not only provide a customer-centric experience, but an educated experience as well. From an early stage in my career I was able to recognize that the educated borrower will be the confident borrower. There's no two ways around it, purchasing a home is an intimidating experience, however it does not have to be a fearful one. I've learned that the more I inform and educate my clients, they were able to break down those barriers and come to enjoy the experience, and that's my ultimate goal. Wherever you are in the home buying process or would like to develop a home buying plan, I'd love to work that out with you. "When I started the process of looking for a new house I really didn't know where to start when it came getting a mortgage. I contacted a couple of lenders, but it was the typical corporate bank scenario in which I was just a client number. A person I spoke to at one of the banks was very pushy and the other seemed to know less about the process than I did. Neither made me feel comfortable about making the largest purchase of my life. Luckily I was personally referred by my realtor and friend to Tony Leighty from First Home Mortgage. I always prefer a direct referral when it comes to anything. I got a direct line to him right from the start. He was super knowledgeable and patient in explaining every aspect of the process, not at all pushy. I never felt rushed and never like I was just another client. He was always available to me when I had questions and kept me informed at every step of the process.
