"Mike was about as clear as mud. We had multiple conversations that my husband and I were both present for and when we discussed them again with Mike we were asked “where did you get that information from”. He told us we would be able to move ahead with our VA construction loan and would not have a problem financing the entire build as we planned to buy our land cash by refinancing our home with the company. Well, after refinancing (and now paying $1000 a more a month for our mortgage) we got a different story about not being able to use a VA construction loan and that our build wouldn’t be able to be completely financed due to the comps in the area so we would have to come up with rest ourselves. So now we own land (which we are ultimately happy about) that we can’t currently afford to build on and have a significantly higher monthly mortgage payment. What a huge disappointment. "
