"Overall I was happy but I have to admit I wasn't happy with the dwindling communication towards the end and the struggle to get a loan estimate for the different properties, which varied significantly in price due to the inventory shortage and swiftness of contracts. The second may be an industry wide issue as I had trouble getting loan estimates from other lenders as well for comparison purposes. Specifically with David's team I had a problem with getting something accurate. For instance when it was known for some time that I had to do FHA, a loan estimate for a new property had Conv terms. Additionally, I actually received worksheets and not estimates. As for communication, emails went unanswered. Because I knew he was busy and my questions weren't urgent, preferred email over calling. As we approached closing, he communicated with my agent but not with me. I never received notification of loan approval. I was told by my agent he sent a letter, that I did not receive."

"They didn't fully understand the complexity of the VA loan, and my COE, and because of that we're trying to say 6 days before closing I had to bring additional money to the table. When I told them I think their calculation for my COE was off, I was told that their numbers were correct. As the buyer I had to call the VA myself to understand the issue. They as the mortgage company didn't do their research and due diligence to know there was an old property on my COE that they were supposed to ask the VA to remove when they confirmed my addresses weeks prior. Because of that the closing got pushed back 5 days, and was just overall a very stressful experience. If you're a veteran, I would exercise caution. "
