"She was the absolute best..We had been dealing with another Lender for 5 months when they dropped the ball and almost cost us our contract not to mention our money. So with our closing being delayed I contacted Ayla Harris just for advice. Within minutes she called me and arranged for us to meet. She gave us more information than we had received the ENTIRE time we were with the other lender. She educated us. She was so resourceful and informational. Her experiences gained her the respect and workmanship with all the key players involved in our process. This made our journey smooth sailing from there. The best decision we could have ever made! She outlined a plan of action, contacted our Realtor and explained the new game plan and we are NOW homeowners because of it. She is a beast. My Realtor even said Stacey where did you find her? Granted everyone situation is different, that's why you need someone that is well-versed is just about every situation out there. She is the first stop call Ayla Harris even if you think you not ready she will outline a plan of action for you so get you on the road to home ownership."

"Ayla is very passionate about her work. She knows the ins and outs of her job very well. She took her time to explain everything and never brushed off my questions (even though I asked her the same questions alot...LOL). She is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and very caring. She kept me up to date on everything and laid out all of my options. She kept up to date on what programs were available to me and in the end she utilized all of my programs to help purchase a home. She told me what to do and what could potentially hurt my chances of purchasing a home. She taught me how to calculate important numbers so that I was prepared for everything. In fact I saved more then necessary (which is wonderful) because she prepared me so well. I love that I can still ask her questions even after the home has been purchased. She also took the time to meet with me multiple times and sent me links to help with my decisions on a home and neighborhood. I would work with her again in the future."

"Horrible. Ayla is not as responsive to email. Often it takes 2-3 emails to her before a response is given. She is unprofessional and at one point almost caused me to give up a $5,000 grant by removing me from an email and going behind my back to the seller and telling him more information than I felt was appropriate and that I could forfit the money to get to closing on time. She did this without even running by me my options for closing and removing a grant, which if the grant was removed I would owe $5,000 at closing. She was extremely not responsive towards the end and was ignoring certain messages and questions I sent to her but responding to other emails I was copied on. I have closed on my property, received a standard card in the mail and all and have emailed Ayla twice about payment details regarding my mortgage and detailed information about my mortgage and how I pay and when and still have not received a response from her. I also can see when emails have been opened. I am extremely disappointed in my working relationship with Ayla. In addition she recommended a realtor to me in the beginning of my process that totally ignored my wishes. I really disappointed as I see First Home Mortgage as a great company but working with Ayla has not been as professional as I would expect from this company. I thought Ayla was better than this but working with her has been drama and I am seriously upset that she almost had me give up free grant money. I would like to speak with someone from First Home Mortgage please."
